Obafemi Awolowo University, (OAU) Ile-Ife, Osun State has suspended a lecturer at the Centre for Distance Learning, Mr. Monday Omo-Etan, for allegedly sexually molesting a 19-year-old female student.

Recall that some weeks ago, the story of a lecturer threatening to fail a female student broke out on social media.

In a follow up to the investigation carried out by the school, the institution's spokesman, Abiodun Olarewaju, revealed that the lecturer has been found guilty.
The statement revealed that this was done in accordance with the institution's fight against sexual harassment.
