Considering Louis van Gaal once allegedly dropped his trousers whilst at Bayern Munich to show his players that he had "balls", the press conference ahead of Manchester United v Midtjylland should have surprised no one.
Louis van Gaal may be under serious pressure to hold onto his job at Manchester United but he has always shown a fight and passion when in front of the media.
Ahead of the Midtjylland match, LVG had a real point when he urged his players to be "horny".
Manchester United have struggled for much of the campaign in moving the ball quickly. As a result, the football on offer at Old Trafford has been dull and pedestrian.
If they followed Louis van Gaal's instructions it seems likely that they would score more goals and be more entertaining.
By publicly coming out with the "horny" line, van Gaal may well get through to his players, who face a must win match against the Danish minnows this evening.
